Healthy and Unhealthy Relationships

What’s healthy?  What’s unhealthy?  

All human relationships have their ups and downs.  How do you tell what’s healthy and what’s unhealthy in a relationship?  Here I’m explaining the difference when it comes to control

In summary:

HEALTHY: when there’s space in your communication with your partner to connect with your body and with your emotions.   You help each other to move beyond your limitations to be all you can be.  You explore a deeper communication and connection together.  

UNHEALTHY:  when one or both partners have an idealised, unrealistic view of how the other “should” behave.  When one partner strays from that idealised view, the other tries to make them feel wrong or bad.  Instead of communicating more openly and deeply to see what’s true and real for each partner,  one partner imposes their worldview on the other.  Neither can connect with their true unique selves and get to real intimacy under those circumstances.
